Job Title: Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance

Duration: 6+ months (possible extensions and/or conversion)

Location: Remote initially, onsite in Santa Monica

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Mentoring and leading automated testing environments

·       Defining and executing Service and DB related testing strategies

·       Work in an Agile Software Delivery methodology highly focused on developing automated tests

·       Work with the project team to drive Test Driven Development where modules that are being worked on are tested right away for immediate feedback

REQUIREMENTS:

Years of relevant experience:

·       5+ years of solid working experience on developing Test automation scripts specifically object-oriented frameworks (Selenium/Webdriver, Java, SoapUI)

·       3+ years of experience as a test engineering within an Agile environment

·       3+ years of web testing experience

·       3+ years of API level testing experience

·       3+ years of Mobile Apps automated testing

Education required/preferred: Technical undergraduate degree preferred, but not required.

Certifications required/ preferred: None

Travel: 0%

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

·       Ability to develop and execute Performance Tests

·       Experience testing high traffic web sites or web-based applications

• A proven ability to test mobile web, mobile application, and desktop systems end to end
• Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
• Experience developing automation frameworks from scratch JavaScript, Selenium
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
• Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
• Experience with testing both open source and enterprise technologies
