Position Description

Our client in Mountain View is searching for a strong Program Manager for a 12 month contract. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

·      Working with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure quality guidelines are enforced accurately across its operations setup and liaison with counterparts

·      Surface improvements to quality guidelines based on implementation accuracy

·      Data analysis and dashboarding for advertiser volume, trends and other areas within visual formats

·      Identify tooling opportunities that can help improve overall visual formats quality and operations efficiencies to better advertiser experience.

·      Explore and understand several new workflows within the Ad Formats spaces

 

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you will manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the direction of your product area. We are searching for someone who has experience in:

·      Domain expertise

o  Ability to set up future proof quality frameworks and institutionalize

o  Ability to set quality targets, measure and report outcomes, track & scale successes, root-cause problems in design/execution and ensure business impact

·      Analytics & Insights

o  Proficient with data mining, interpretation & creating compelling narratives using data

o  Understands & applies concepts related to customer experience measurement (e.g. customer journey mapping etc)

o  Based on quantitative and qualitative data, ability to get to the root cause and hold relevant parties accountable to follow through to closure

o  Familiarity with SQL and/or Big Data, and querying large databases

o  Statistical understanding of concepts of data sampling and trend analysis

o  Experience in Surveying methodologies and running surveys for process improvements

·      Business acumen

o  Ability to translate business requirements into measurable outcomes through quality evaluation

o  Ability to understand the language of the business including financials, market trends, growth strategy, competition, & direction

o  Demonstrated ability of efficient quality related problem solving specifically backed either through a process driven or product/tool driven approach

·      Relationship Management

o  Strong champion & practitioner of collaborative and influential leadership, while having the ability to challenge the status quo and lead change with empathy

o  Strong focus on persuasive communication skills.

o  Excellent Stakeholder management along with ability and understanding of working in a matrix, cross functional and a truly global and multicultural environment

o  Balances multiple perspectives to inform thinking and decision making

o  Comfortable in handling crucial, challenging and difficult conversations respectfully

o  Ability to assess needs, request and secure support from team/senior leadership as necessary to make efficient decisions

o  Ability to manage polarities between operational goals and business goals

 

Skill/Experience/Education

·      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

·      Minimum 5 years (or overall 10 years with at least 3 yrs of relevant work ex) of work experience in operations management in digital marketing (or related areas) with at least 3 years of functional experience in running quality operations

·      Experience in technical cross-functional projects

·      Experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms

·      Experience with Project management, data analysis, relationship management, business acumen, etc..

·      Working knowledge of SQL and querying large databases

·      Desired Familiarity with advanced SQL and/or Big Data, and querying large databases
