Mobile Application Engineer (React Native) – IT Specialist 4

Location: Rosemead, CA (initially remote)

Anticipated 12+ month Contract (probable extension or contract-to-hire)

What will you be doing as a Mobile Apps Engineer?

  • Develops software (hands on code development) to meet key business objectives.
  • Understands and applies SW development methodologies in adherence to SW development standards
  • Designs and develops Mobile applications or systems solving specific business or processing problem
  • Gathers business requirements and develops conceptual design and technical design for multiple projects concurrently.
  • Reviews computer system capabilities, work flow and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
  • Conducts peer review of other developers (internal and contract staff) to ensure standards and quality.
  • Provides architecture and design overview in adherence to development standards.
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Mobile Apps Engineer Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of diverse experience designing, developing, and implementing Mobile platforms and applications. 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Agile, enterprise environment, working with large teams of Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, etc…
  • 2+ years of experience using React.js and Node.js
  • 2+ years of experience using cloud hosting platforms, such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc…
  • Experience with Swift, Objective C, Java, or Kotlin is a bonus
