IT Equipment Coordinator

11+ month contract with potential to convert (full benefits offered)

Must work onsite in Newark, NJ

Responsible for various tasks related to IT hardware, including inventory management, handling warranties, distributing hardware, setting up and collecting equipment from desks, preparing computers for deprecation and assisting with computer setups to distribute to staff. 

 Basic responsibilities:

  • Imaging
  • Desk setups and teardowns for new hires and terminations
  • Desk moves
  • Clean computers
  • Warranty hardware
  • Image computers
  • Unboxing
  • Inventory and asset management
  • Recycling and donation hardware preparation
  • Distribute hardware peripherals to users
  • Assist with projects
  • Handle shipping logistics

Optional responsibilities:

  • Computer swaps
  • Basic technical support

Required skills:

  • A+ certification is nice to have
  • 1 year of experience working with IT hardware
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, in particular excel
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs and handle physical work related to inventory management
  • Pays close attention to details
