Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

$50K – 80K

We are currently looking for a sharp, high energy and self-motivated individual to assist in supporting 1200 internal users. Hours of operation are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM so looking for an 8-hour shift within that time frame Monday – Friday. On very rare occasion, there may be an after hours call. This will be providing first and second level support, documenting hardware and software issues in the call tracking system (Ivanti Service Management – formerly Heat), updating resolution descriptions, managing call queues, and escalating tickets as necessary.

Configure remote access via Horizon, Juniper, VIP Access Token, Cisco AnyConnect, DSL and cable. Train users on how to access the network remotely and map drives. Analyze, evaluate, implement and maintain hardware and software products, including PCs, laptops, iPhones, iPads, Windows 10, Windows 7, Microsoft Office, LCD projectors, Remote diagnostic tools, Antivirus software, FrontRange, etc. Assist Asset Administrator with tracking assets. Assist with printer related issues, including installation, toner replacement and troubleshooting. 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field and 3-5 years of IT experience or 7 years of direct experience with increasing responsibility in computer systems or IT support. A+, MCSE or CHDA certification a plus. Must have solid communication skills and a customer driven attitude. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs of computer equipment.

 

Nice to Have:

May test hardware and software for compatibility

May write software and hardware evaluation and recommendations for management

May train users on hardware and software

May work with Microsoft Premier Support to resolve issues

May write IT policies and procedures and post in SharePoint

May install microcomputers, software and peripherals

May complete paperwork for invoices to be paid
