Synergis Announces the Expansion of the LA Branch

Posted by Lauren Lopez on Mon, Apr 02, 2018

Synergis is growing! Today, we are excited to announce the expansion of the Synergis Los Angeles branch with the transition of Matt Garrett from Atlanta to the Los Angeles office. Matt, an industry veteran, came to us in September of 2017 and clearly expressed an interest in wanting to take something small and grow it bigger than imagined. Los Angeles is rapidly becoming one of the countries most advanced technology markets, and it only made sense to send out a seasoned Senior Account Executive with the incredible group of recruiters already in place in Los Angeles.

When asked about why he was ready to move, Matt replied that it came down to two areas: professional growth, and corporate growth. He loves the idea of building things from scratch and seeing them come together. He also knows that the Los Angeles market is wide open for Synergis to grow, and he wants to expand our footprint.

Matt’s goal out in Los Angeles will be to become the #1 staffing firm in Southern California, and because of his competitive side, he knows the Southern California market has room for Synergis to grow exponentially; he would love to see it become the largest market for Synergis.

Matt will be joined by his wife, Deb, the “light of his life”, and their two dogs, Khloe and Bailey. This will be a big change for his family since he was raised in the Atlanta area, and all his family is still here. They are looking forward to learning new things, meeting new people, and continuing their love for CrossFit. They currently arrive at the gym at 3:30 AM every morning, and it’s their chance to spend quality time together during their busy days.

One little known fact about Matt is that he fought semi professionally in the MMA. He fought consistently until he was about 25 years old. He also was a high school counselor for eight years at Alpharetta High School, and an Assistant Principal for one year.

Matt said one of the things he will miss about the Atlanta office is the people. He says, “they are incredibly supportive of people’s professional careers, and highly dedicated to their clients”. The Atlanta office boasts a recruiting team ripe with professionalism, experience, and tenure which isuncommon in the recruiting industry.  They bring unique strengths to the industry that provides the confidence that you can always rely on them to partner with you in the client’s best interests.

While the Atlanta office will miss him, we are excited to see how Matt will be able to support current and new clients out on the west coast!
